“JASPER: The Story of a Mule” is a children’s story told in the vein of “Black Beauty.” Whimsical yet realistic, the story offers wholesome themes, such as, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” and, “Always try to do your best.” Meredith’s father, Charles M. Schulz, first inspired her to write a children’s book, and the animated telling of the story was produced in similar fashion to his “Peanuts” holiday specials.
“JASPER: The Story of a Mule” is a children’s cartoon that the entire family can enjoy. Not only is it designed to spark and nurture young people’s interest in mules and donkeys, it’s a story that helps cultivate a respect for all living things.
